HVOF
HVOF flame spraying is a highly kinetic process used to apply carbide or metallic coatings. Our experts use it to create extremely impermeable surfaces.
PROPERTIES
Ø Adhesive Strength: > 80 MPa
Ø Porosity: 0.5% to 1%
Ø Coating thickness: 100 to 500 μm

High Velocity Oxygen Fuel» Carbides


APS
The most flexible thermal spray coating produces enough energy to melt any material and allows superior control to create optimal layer thicknesses and surface properties (mostly from Ceramic).
PROPERTIES
Ø Adhesive strength: 20 to 50 MPa
Ø Porosity: 4% to 8%
Ø Coating thickness: 200 to 1,000 μm
ADVANTAGES
• Large selection of material grades on a variety of materials
• Low thermal conductivity into the coated part or component
• Good control of layer thickness and surface properties
• Coating of internal bores possible
• Improvement of thermal or electrical isolation

EAWS
With mostly metallic coating materials this process results in massive protection against wear, improved corrosion resistance, thermal isolation, electrical insulation, as well as the improvement of visual properties.
PROPERTIES
Ø Adhesive strength: 15 to 40 MPa
Ø Porosity: 3%
Ø Coating thickness: 200 to 5,000 μm
ADVANTAGES
• Thick layers of 5 mm or more possible
• Increase of service life and decrease of maintenance costs
• Ideal for repair of machine parts and components
• Also works with molybdenum wear protection
• Enormously economical
